I haven’t blogged much over the past two weeks. Apparently, in order to resist the temptation of mindless surfing, I’ve stayed away from the computer while at home except to perform a very specific task (like budgets and purchases). My media fast ends at the end of the day on Saturday. I’ll be back blogging, Lord willing, at that point.

A few tidbits:

  1. Time wasters can destroy our ability to live for God
  2. In Peter’s vision of the unclean food, God said to not call “common” what He has made clean. That applies in more places than I thought.
  3. I went on a very short fast yesterday (6 hours - from 9:30am to 3:30pm) - which is not much, but it was a fabulous experience. I hope to tell you about it.

That list is as much for me as it is to, hopefully, whet your appetite for more incredible feats of prose (and, if it did - you’re on the wrong blog… incredibly feats of prose do not yet exist here.) Seriously, I hope you do come and read over the next week. God has been doing some exciting things.
